Physiotherapy
A physiotherapist is a university-trained primary health care professional, who treats patients with physical conditions/injuries. Our goal is to restore mobility, functional independence and to promote overall wellness.
If you have an ICBC claim or WorkSafe BC claim please contact the clinic to ensure we have approval to bill for your claim prior to your first appointment. If we cannot secure coverage you will have to pay our full rates until coverage is confirmed.
Please note: If you have not been to the clinic in over 3 months, or if this is a new injury, an initial appointment is required for the Physiotherapist to complete a new assessment.
Massage Therapy
Massage Therapy focuses primarily on restoring muscles to optimal length, strength and balance. Whether the cause of the pain is primarily muscular or a secondary reaction to trauma, muscles will react to protect and guard the affected area. By reducing muscle pain, we allow the body to relax and recuperate.
Kinesiology
A Kinesiologist is a university-trained exercise specialist with a detailed understanding of the mechanics of the human body, the effect of injury on movement and the progressive prescription of exercise. Active Rehabilitation is an individualized program to meet your goals and functional needs with respect to lifestyle, work or sport. Our goal is to ensure you return to functional independence in all aspects of life and to prevent a recurrence of your injury.
If you have an ICBC claim or WorkSafe BC claim please contact the clinic to ensure we have approval to bill for your claim prior to your first appointment. If we cannot secure coverage you will have to pay our full rates until coverage is confirmed.
